Palliative Care Education TeamThe Palliative Care Education Team aims to provide an in-service and community based programme that offers educational opportunities to all health professionals in Southland, accross specialist and generalist providers and the wider community. They are working towards implimenting the Liverpool Care Pathway for the dying patient (LCP), thereby empowering the generalist palliative care providers to deliver a high quality and consistant standard of care for patients who are living with a progressive illness and who are imminently dying.
