Hospice and palliative care focuses on quality of life, responding to each patient's physical, emotional and spiritual needs.
Family life is deeply affected when a loved one has an incurable illness, and support for families is also an intrinsic part of hospice care.
Services are provided free of charge- 60% of the funding required to meet the cost of our services comes from te Ministry of Health. The remaining funds come from the generosity of the Southland and Wakatipu communities.
