On 8 September 2021 all of New Zealand south of Auckland moved to Covid Alert Level 2. This followed a move down from the highest Level 4 to Level 3 on September 1.
At Level 2 some restrictions remain for visitors to hospice’s In-Patient Unit at Kew Rd, Invercargill to keep patients, families and staff safe. Visiting hours are 10am to 7pm, visitors must scan and sign in, only 2 visitors per patient room at a time, masks are compulstory as is 2m social distancing.
Please do not visit hospice if you are unwell, in self-isolation, or have the following symptoms: a cough, a temperature ( 38+ deg. C), or shortness of breath. If you are unsure, please call ahead and check with us first on (03) 211 3081.
All of our seven hospice shops reopened at Level 2. You are welcome to browse and buy, as well as drop off items and other donations. QR code scanning, face masks and social distancing are required.
