Following the announcement by Rt Hon Jacinda Arden today (23rd March 2020) and the increase of the alert level to 3, with level 4 being effective from 11.59pm Wednesday 25th March 2020, we have updated our visiting hours to keep patients, families, and staff safe. We have asked all our volunteers to stay home during this unprecedented time.
From today we are restricting visiting hours – details of this will be personalised to each family.
Please do not visit our Hospice if you are unwell, in self-isolation, or have the following symptoms: a cough, a temperature (at least 38 degrees), shortness of breath. If you are unsure, please call ahead and check with us first on (03) 211 3081.
As of today (Monday 23rd March 2020), all of our Hospice Southland Shops have temporarily closed their doors as instructed by the Government. We are also no longer accepting donations so we ask that you do not leave items outside our shops. We hope to see you back shopping and donating once we are open again, your support will be needed more than ever!
